Love at first sight? More like love at first murder. Shutter, by Laurie Faria Stolarz is the story of two teenagers who slowly fall in love because of a horrendous murder. Most people would be terrified at the idea of housing a murderer, not Day Connor, the main character of this novel.
When Day walked into the convenience store, she noticed a tall suspicious looking male. She followed him out of the store. Click click two pictures taken! Day takes pictures of Julian. He feels her presence and turns around slowly, but to his surprise, nothing is there. Nothing but the sound of his beating heart and his quaking fingers. “I’m on the run,” he says to himself. “She can’t find out.” If you want to read a truly mind boggling, heart-felt book, Shutter is for you!
