Nottingham’s Mr. Brandon Johnson is a physical education teacher who also doubles as an intellectual that strives for the best and never settles for anything less. He discloses that as a high school student he didn’t really know what he wanted as a career, but whatever it was it had to involve sports. Eventually, he found his way and now as a teacher, he has only great things to say about the staff and the students.
To him, the staff is always helpful and they want nothing but the best for their students. His students always brighten up his day and they always keep him on his toes. But while Mr. Johnson is making an impact within the school, he is making an impact in the outside community as well. Currently being developed is Work, a basketball movement that he will be applying to his basketball coaching. It focuses on bringing out the seemingly insignificant things that people think don't matter but then applying them, so that students can be better athletes. Although Johnson expresses his uncertainty of continuing a career of teaching as a physical education teacher, he most definitely wants to coach basketball in some fashion. As a fellow Northstar, we thank Mr. Johnson for his years of teaching and inspiring students. |
