3. What grade has the worst school spirit?
Mrs. Hogan- Unfortunately, this year it seems that the seniors have the worst school spirit. I understand that they are disappointed and frustrated with how the year is going for them.
Sarah Formica- I thought that my grade (sophomores) had the worst school spirit this year. Not many people were getting involved.
Ms. Hutchinson- I agree with Mrs. Hogan, the senior had the worst. We kept trying to encourage them to participate all week.
Zobia Chaudhry- I thought the Juniors had the worst.

Mrs. Hogan- I enjoy spending time with my family and running.
Sarah Formica- I like to spend time with family and friends and read and I like to perform.

6. Was this easy for you or a lot of work?
Mrs. Hogan- This was a lot of work. I don’t think the general school population realizes how much time and energy went into planning and executing this spirit week.
Sarah Formica- This was definitely a lot of work. I thought that it paid off, I just hope that the rest of the student body thought so, too.
Ms. Hutchinson- Definitely a lot of time went into planning and putting this together. Mrs. Hogan and I were discussing these ideas with student government months ago.
Ciera- this was definitely a lot of work. Not only was there a lot of planning there was a lot of editing and keeping on top of each deadline necessary
Zobia Chaudhry- It was pretty hard, but we managed to pull through. There’s only so much you can do during virtual, but at least we did do something.
7. What is one theme that you wanted to do but couldn't?
Mrs. Hogan- I don’t think I have one.
Sarah Formica- There isn’t anything I can think of off the top of my head, but many of my ideas would have to be done in person.
Ms. Hutchinson- None that I can think of.
Zobia Chaudhry- Mismatch Day
8. How much say do you have when choosing the spirit week themes?
Mrs. Hogan- The students pick the themes they would like to do, and we send them to Mr. Ragazzo for final approval.
Sarah Formica- Student government officers can submit ideas and discuss other people’s ideas, but they have to be approved by teachers and administration.
Ms. Hutchinson- The students really come up with the ideas themselves. Ms. Hogan and I then took the ideas to Mr. Ragazzo to get them approved.
Zobia Chaudhry- We all presented ideas and worked together to find the ones that fit best for our current situation. In the end we ran them passed Mr. Ragazzo for approval.
9. Even though we are not in school do you still think we still have the best school spirit?
Mrs. Hogan- I would like to say yes! We are the only school in the district that did a virtual pep rally. I am proud that others will look to our school as an example.
Sarah Formica- I 100% believe that Nottingham has the best school spirit. All I’ve ever seen from our students and staff is community and lots of spirit.
Ms. Hutchinson- Absolutely!! Exactly what Mrs. Hogan said (haha)! And our spirit at Nottingham shows at all our sporting events as well! We always have the largest student area compared to the other 2 high schools.
Zobia Chaudhry- Definitely! We’re the only ones in Hamilton that did a virtual pep rally!
10. Are you surprised by how people participated? Did you have an idea of how it would be?
Mrs. Hogan- I was surprised by how many people participated. It was wonderful to see. I hosted the junior class, and it made all the hard work and time worth it to see how many students logged on and stayed for the entire thing.
Sarah Formica- I was very surprised with how many people participated. I didn’t expect it at all and I was really excited to see students and staff get involved and have some fun.
Ms. Hutchinson- The response during and after we showed the virtual pep rally was worth all the hard work! I was really proud of all the students who participated all week. Seeing the pictures, as well as the amount of students who stayed to watch the entire pep rally was really amazing.
Zobia Chaudhry- I was definitely surprised at how many people actually participated.
