The athletically inclined students of Nottingham can rest easy knowing that its athletic department will be cared for under the leadership of Serritella, who boasts an impressive record. After spending 23 years at Governor Livingston High School in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, Serritella retired for a short period. However, he came out of said retirement after being offered a position as Interim Athletic Director at Watchung Hills Regional High School in Warren, New Jersey. After 2 years at Watchung Hills, Serritella was offered a permanent position as Athletic Director and consequently spent another 10 years serving in their staff until he retired again in 2015. |
Despite retirement his brief retirement before joining the Northstar Nation, Serritella has remained actively involved in the athletic community and is affiliated with state football. In fact, Serritella is the Chairman of the Midstate 28 Football League. When asked what made him want to join the Northstar staff, Serritella speaks of his high opinion on Nottingham, citing that it is “a great school, with great kids, great faculty, great people overall.” Serritella is looking forwards to being able to “help where he can and attend [all of the sports events and school activites] that he can.” So if you happen to spot a new face in the football stands or soccer sidelines, be sure to offer Mr. Serritella a warm welcome!
