Return of the Chess Club

"The Nottingham High School chess club is a small community that fosters our love for strategy…and decimating our friends. Here, we train new players and test veterans to support a fair battle for our members. For all players, our goal is to help everyone improve and have a fun experience while doing it." - Mr. Meinhardt

The first question: what is chess?

Chess is a board game played between two players that simulates a war between two kingdoms. The pieces include a king, queen, two bishops, two knights, two rooks, and eight pawns. Each piece can move in a unique way and the object of the game is to capture the opponent's king. 

If this sounds like an epic game to you, join the chess club! You do not need any experience to join, just a passion for chess!
